Composition: This deodorant stick is made from (in order of quantity): coconut oil, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), berry wax, shea butter, jojoba wax beads, zinc oxide, arrowroot, aloe vera extract, vitamin E, sunflower oil (carrier for the vitamin E), and a natural fragrance made from essential oils. Cucumber & Aloe Vera deodorant contains no allergens.
Cucumber & Aloe Vera deodorant contains no beeswax, but berry wax. This makes this deodorant scent completely vegan. The other Loveli deodorants still contain beeswax. Beeswax is collected by bees, but it does come from plants. So the other deodorants are natural, but not vegan. But because we and our Lovelees are so happy with this deodorant, we may switch to fully vegan deodorants in the future ;-).
Baking soda neutralizes odors
This Cucumber & Aloe Vera deodorant is the answer if you’re looking for an aluminum-free deodorant that really works. Coconut oil nourishes your skin, and baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) neutralizes sweat odors. With arrowroot and shea butter for soft skin. And vitamin E as an antioxidant. 100% natural.
Loveli deodorant doesn’t block your skin or sweat glands. This means you keep sweating to eliminate waste products and regulate your body temperature. So the deodorant stops you from smelling of sweat, but you’ll still sweat because sweating is healthy :-).
Zinc oxide for extra protection against stress sweat
Cucumber & Aloe Vera deodorant contains zinc oxide to protect you from stress and hormonal sweat. This type of sweat is different from sweat caused by heat and exertion. It’s thicker and yellower, and contains more fatty acids than regular sweat. The bacteria on your skin love these fatty acids. When these bacteria come into contact with the fatty acids in your sweat, it causes body odor.
The zinc oxide in Loveli deodorant converts the fatty acids in your sweat into odorless zinc salts before the bacteria can do their work. Zinc is twice as effective against sweat odors because it’s also antibacterial! This means there are fewer bacteria on your skin that can cause unpleasant sweat odors.
