Composition:
The deodorant stick is made from (in order of quantity): coconut oil, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), beeswax, shea butter, zinc oxide, arrowroot, vitamin E, natural fragrance made from essential oils, and sunflower oil (the carrier for vitamin E).
Sodium bicarbonate may irritate sensitive skin. That’s why it’s combined with soothing arrowroot and zinc oxide. Your skin may still react, though. There’s also a sensitive version with less sodium bicarbonate and skin-nourishing sandalwood oil.
The packaging is made of polypropylene (plastic). It can be recycled with the rest of your plastic waste, but an even more environmentally friendly option is to refill it.
